Judging by the six songs listed here, I would estimate that Hurrah! PH-78-13 was from December 1959 or January 1960. Apparently this was one of those budget labels that used unknown artists to cover the latest hits. So here we have covers of Johnny Preston’s “Running Bear,” Neil Sedaka’s “Oh, Carol,” Jimmy Clanton’s “Go Jimmy Go,” “Do-Re-Mi” from “The Sound of Music,” Freddy Cannon’s “Way Down Yonder In New Orleans,” and Frankie Avalon’s “Why.”
